Membership in IBWC

We seek to develop a strong network - defining ourselves from our own perspective. To this end, IBWC has established membership in forty states and five African countries; holds annual national conferences on critical issues impacting women of

African ancestry; travels yearly to various African and Caribbean countries on international networking and education tours; established an International ’Black Womens Speakers Bureau; developed a nationally recognized Rites of Passage program for young women that includes mentoring; and published three scholarly books. It is our aim to continue to strengthen our network of members. Additonal information, including our mission, goals and objectives can be found in the Global Village section of this Site.
